The illumination of Melbourne’s iconic landmarks on 31st July will be a powerful symbol of support for our Rangers and the vital work we do. It highlights Melbourne’s commitment to environmental conservation but also serves as an inspiration to the public, raising awareness of the challenges faced by rangers worldwide.
In 2024, 12 public landmarks in four Australian states were illuminated in green on World Ranger Day. These included Brisbane’s Story Bridge, the Tasman Bridge in Hobart, and the Bolte Bridge in Melbourne.
In 2025 we are excited to announce a growing list of landmarks Shining Green for Rangers in Melbourne and invite you to come out for a night to see some of them.
Meet Edena at Melbourne Town Hall, followed by a walk around the city to see a few of the landmarks.
